A presentation has been organized to take place at the IFT Expo 2016 July 17-19 in Chicago, one of the leading food technology shows around the world, to promote GPC’s International Year of Pulses campaign with the participation of winning teams from the 7 national competitions as well as winners of the virtual competition.
The presentation will show how pulses can be used in a wide variety of innovative food products, from bean jam and fermented pulse ice cream, to lupin crisps and bean amaranth energy bars.
Young entrepreneurs from around the world are creating business opportunities for themselves as food innovators. Winners from the “LovePulses” global food innovation competition will be showcasing their products at the IFT Expo in Chicago in the hopes of securing contracts to bring their products to market.
