IV Congresso Nacional de Feijão-caupi (4th National Congress of Cowpea)

Between 7-10 of June 2016, the Embrapa Mid-North will hold the 4th National Congress of Cowpea at the Events Center Ari José Riedi, in the city of Sorriso, in Mato Grosso.
The event aims to encourage interaction between the various stakeholders in cowpea culture and promote its update on the main innovations, market research and technologies related to the culture. The event will draw over 500 participants, who make up a public with a high degree of interest in innovation and knowledge.
With the theme "Progress and Technological Challenges and Markets", the Congress will have three main areas: scientific, technical and commercial, and will have the launch of BRS Imponente, an attractive cowpea cultivar, especially for the export market. The program will also have a Field Day called "Technologies for planting, management and harvesting of Cowpea Bean culture", where the public can check closely the advances and innovative technological solutions developed for this culture by Embrapa.
