The launch of the International Year of legumes is an ideal opportunity to talk about pulses.

This conference is part of a broader communications plan that will run throughout 2016 for la Fédération Nationale des Légumes Secs (FNLS) (press kit, creating recipes, new website, foodtruck down newsrooms, bloggers operation).

The program will include;

  1. Introductory remarks by Mr. Cherki (President, FNLS) (5')
  2. Intervention by a representative of FAO (10-15')
    To explain the UN communication plan around the International Year of Pulses: the concept, its implementation with the various stakeholders, the actions planned around the world ...
  3. Statement by Mr Lievin (CEO Soufflet Alimentaire, member of the ADEPALE-FNLS) (10')
    To present the French agricultural sector, recover its dynamism, culture and production of pulses in France (varieties, features, benefits ...) and introduce the concept of communication super pulses.
  4. Statement by a representative of the EB (Gwénaëlle Bizet, Head of Office - DGAL - Ministry of Agriculture / confirmed) (10')
    To speak of the place of dried vegetables in our diet, remove the obstacles to their consumption, enhance their nutritional qualities.
  5. Statement by the Chief Robushi Vanessa (10')
    To democratize the consumption of pulses, return to their preparation, their cooking, the multitude of achievable recipes.
