DESCRIPTION:A luncheon will take place at the UN Headquarters in New York C
 ity\, hosted by the Canadian Mission to the UN. Celebrating pulses and IYP
 \, it will bring together Ambassadors\, UN staff involved in food security
  and nutrition as well as a GPC delegation. \nIn addition\, the American P
 ulse Association\, in cooperation with Pulse Canada\, has worked hard to a
 rrange a media event that will highlight the nutritional role of pulses\, 
 as well as other key messages from the international year. Taking place at
  the Michelin-starred restaurant\, Public\, this dinner will convene four 
 famous chefs\, who will run tasting sessions for a public of journalists a
 nd bloggers. \nThe chefs include Alex Guarnaschelli from Food Network\, Mi
 chael Solomonov of Sahav\, Seamus Mullen of Tertulia\, and Sam Mason of Od
 dFellows Ice Cream. The executive chef of the restaurant – Brad Farmerie –
  will prepare four passed appetizers that will be offered to attendees as 
 they first arrive\, including the winning “National Signature Dish” Lentil
  &amp\; Cauliflower Taco recipe created by blogger Cookie and Kate. \nThe 
 event will surprise\, delight and educate all attendees on the four core p
 illars of the IYP (Sustainability\, Food Security\, Nutrition\, and Versat
 ility) while crafting a world-class culinary experience to generate excite
