The main objective of this proposed “ of Pulses” is;
- To create awareness on the metabolic roles and polyphenols, phytochemicals present in pulses.
- To celebrate the International Year of Pulses
- To teach about the role of pulses cardiovascular disease and obesity
- Raise awareness about the role of pulses in sustainable food production and healthy diets and their contribution to food security and nutrition.
- To create awareness about their benefits for soil fertility and their significance in food security.
