Pulse Feed
The 2nd year HNCA students will compete in creating the most nutritious and delicious dish which highlights pulses and local ingredients. Each group will be assigned a food stall in the atrium of the school where they will sell their products/entries. All buyers will be given stickers to determine if the dishes are a “yay” or a “nay”. Photos and videos will be posted online.
Beandeos (Bean-Videos) Healthy Cooking demo
The freshmen students will come up with dishes substituting the meat component with pulses. Each group will give a demo of their dishes and shall upload the video by Jan.18. Part of the grading is the number of likes and shares of the videos online and in social media
It’s more fun at Tytana: Pulses Edition
The juniors are grouped into 5 teams where each will come up with fun and creative ways of promoting beans and pulses to the entire Tytana community. Each group will make a collage and video presentation of their activities to be uploaded by Jan. 18, 2016
Group 1: BEAN IT TO WIN IT
Participants take part in a series of 60 second challenges that use different kinds of pulses as the star of the game
Group 2: Bean Pong
Similar to beer pong but instead of beer, each cup contains trivia questions about pulses. Participants will win prizes in each correct answer.
Group 3: Four pics, One Bean
Inspired from the game app four pics one word, participants will guess the name of the pulses (jumbled letters) through the photos provided
Group 4: I-shoot mo na ang PULSE!
Similar to arcade basketball game but instead of the usual ball, large scale models of diff. pulses will be used. Participants need to shoot the pulses in the net and trivia questions per shoot will be asked. Prizes will be given in every correct answer.
Group 5: Jack my beans
Exciting game where 2 participants will battle to answer the trivia question inside a bottle full of beans. In order to get the piece of paper, they need to one by one let loose the beans in a small hole at the bottom of the bottle. First participant to give the correct answer wins the prize.
Bonus game
A bowl of beans will be placed in the middle of the venue. Participants will guess the total number of beans inside the large bowl. The participant who will guess the exact or at least the closest number wins a prize
