NSTF Awards

The National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) is a non-profit organisation in South Africa, promoting science and technology. In doing so, its flagship project, the NSTF Awards launched in 1998, recognise excellence in science, engineering, technology and innovation in South Africa. This year, the NSTF Awards is making a special Award in Crop Science and Food Security research, in honour of the 2016 International Year of Pulses. Nominees that qualify for this Award will be selected from any one of the existing ten categories. The 18th NSTF Awards Gala dinner will be held with the Minister of Science and Technology in South Africa and will promote the Pulse theme. A promotional video will be screened and the Pulse theme will be carried through all printed material and the décor for the evening.
