Felton Food Festival

On October 04, 2016

At 64 Bryces Rd, Far Meadow NSW, Australia

Experience a day on the land and celebrate authentic country life at the Felton Food Festival. Held annually in April, the Festival is a showcase of everything that the Felton Valley is famous for – delectable produce, stunning landscapes, friendly people and real country living.

While the food is king, there are plenty of other activities to take part in at the Festival. Families, friends, farmers and food lovers can mingle amongst the wide range of market stalls, take a crop tour, meet a local farmer, learn about the paddock to plate process, take in a cooking demonstration, roam with the free range farm animals, enjoy some live entertainment and relax in the country atmosphere.

Well known for its mung beans and chickpea crops, in 2016 the Felton Food Festival joins in the celebrations of the International Year of Pulses, with a range of activities to satisfy all the senses. Special guests include Costa Georgiadis (back by popular demand!), Matt Golinski, Jerry Coleby-Williams, Alison Alexander and for the first time, Glen Barratt. Felton has the experts on board!

Felton is located 30 kilometres south of Toowoomba in Queesnland Australia and with a number of accommodation packages on offer, why not stay the weekend and explore this exciting corner of Queensland.
